L’appartamento gode di una vista eccezionale sul fiordo e sulle montagne.
La struttura è molto accogliente, confortevole, ampia e pulita.
I letti sono ampi e comodi.
La cucina è ben attrezzata e molto spaziosa.
La casa è posizionata in un luogo pacifico e tranquillo, ideale per chi cerca relax lontano dal caos.
Pur essendo in una zona appartata, la casa è comoda per esplorare la zona circostante e per le attività di avvistamento delle balene.

We stayed here on our honeymoon for two nights in June / July and it was wonderful. Booked the apartment with washing machine and dryer which came conveniently as we were in the middle of a 2 week holiday. We were greeted by surprise drinks & snacks in the fridge and felt absolutely warmly welcomed!! The washing machine even had pods available 🙂 just wonderful. The view is also unbelievable. Looking over the sea and the mountains is amazing.
The bed was so comfy and everything was so well equipped , like even slippers were available because the floor was a bit cold.

We also got a message that we could park wherever we like because the other guests didn’t arrive, which was also soooo nice! Its the small things that make you feel so welcome here! Great communication!

Really nice flat with 2 bed rooms, a viewing room with a telescope to see the whales, a spacious living room and kitchen with nice amenities.

After a gorgeous day spent on Grímsey Island, we grabbed dinner at Toman and headed to the studio. There, we found a BEAUTIFUL standalone unit. Simple in style, it is fully equipped with kitchen, washer/dryer, living area. And best of all, a direct view of the bay through three floor to ceiling windows! My mother’s only complaint was the lack of a television, but with views like this, who needs a screen!?

This place is absolutely magical. We stayed here for 4 nights when the temperature dropped to -15 and were still warm and snug. We didn't get to meet Remy but he was super responsive and helpful prior to our stay. The views are amazing, the apartment has everything you need, and you only need to walk for 5 minutes to see the aurora. An added bonus: you don't need to drive after visiting the beer spa (there's a zero tolerance policy on drink driving in Iceland) 😀
Just one thing to note if you are visiting during the winter season: most restaurants around are closed, so you need to either cater for yourself, or go to Akureyri to have a meal.

Bellissima casa, totalmente come descritta, spaziosa e con molte dotazioni, molto confortevoli le ciabatte lasciate all'ingresso. Stupendo il messaggio dal proprietario che ci ha avvisato che sarebbe stato possibile vedere l'aurora boreale.

Easily our favorite stay in the entire 16-day trip. Yes, it's a bit off the beaten path, but if you are looking for a quiet, romantic, relaxing getaway with excellent chances to see the Aurora Borealis, this is the place. Gorgeous views from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The nearby Kaldi brewery is surprisingly excellent, and the beer spa down the street, while pricey, has good food and promises relaxation for that much needed self-care. There's not much else do right in Arskogssandur, so if you're looking for lots of activities and walkability you'll need to head back to Akureyri.

The nearest grocery store is in Akureyri, so if you're going to stay for more than a night I'd make sure you have some food with you unless you plan to eat at the Beer Spa.
