A+ experience! My wife and I were the only two on the tour. She was a bit nervous about whether she'd be able to do it, but it was a lot easier than she thought. While I have no doubt our guide, Tom, would be able to keep up with the most athletic of kayakers, he seemed just as happy leisurely kayaking around the fjord with us and enjoying the conversation. He was a wealth of knowledge, not just about kayaking and getting the gear on, but also about the area and any questions we threw at him. It seems counterintuitive, but the weather in Siglufjordur was fantastic in June - even though it is the north cost of Iceland, there is a bit of a microclimate in the area that traps good weather in the fjord. If you're on the fence about kayaking in the North Atlantic, I can't recommend enough that you add this tour to your itinerary - you won't regret it!

We did the private SUP tour with Tom and it was just wonderful! We went all around the calm fjord, looking at the ruins of the old herring factory and the shipwreck, having a great time in the water. The kids (10&12) loved it too- they even jumped into the water at the end, having a blast. Tom knows a lot about the area and made this trip a truly memorable experience for all of us! Higly recommend!!

The tour was just amazing! There were some last minute cancellations, but instead of canceling the whole tour I was basically upgraded to a private tour. Tom, my guide, was just great. He explained everything from the kayaking basics (e.g. how to properly put on the dry suit; different kayaking techniques) to details and stories about Siglufjordur and the nearby areas. The route on kayak itself was easy and fun. We also visited the other side of the bay and walked ashore.
I highly recommend kayaking with Sigló Sea when visiting the North of Iceland! 🙂

I went for the first time and we liked it so much my little daughter who did it for the first time had anxiety but the girl Laken who is experienced helped her a lot to get rid of her anxiety . 👍☺️ 🫶. He gave us special shoes so we wouldn't get ours wet, which is very important. . We will definitely do it again, it is very worth it☺️👍🌞😊 .Seals also approached us. 🦭🦭❤️ .
We will definitely do it again, it has a calmness and the scenery is magical, we went all the way to the opposite side and everything is so beautiful Thank you so much. Sigló Sea 🌊 💙 ✨️

Fantastic experience from a stunning point of view! Our guide Tom has been very careful and helpful in every step, from preparation to landing. He has a very interesting point of view on the place and through his words we could appreciate many aspects of Siglufjördur: animals and seaweeds, history of site and local traditions, people and buildings, mountains with avalanches, the shipwreck in the bay... And the marvellous perspective of the land from the water of the fiord!

We spent a lot of time researching unique experiences for our Iceland trip using YouTube, travel blogs/websites, and social media and somehow this experience was an undiscovered gem! We are so glad we saw a flyer at the Beer Spa, we checked and were able to make a reservation for the next day. Small group size with a lovely paddle around the harbor to see sites important to the town's history. We even had a seal hang out with us for a bit. Fun for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Tom was an excellent guide, you can tell he loves what he does and he's going to make sure you have a great experience!
