Easy check in, even after hours. Just a key on a hook with your name on it! Parking easy right out front. No kitchen access was the major downside. Floors were creaky and hallways looked dated. My single room door was like 5 feet tall. WC in basement much better for showers and number of sinks. Toilets easy access near rooms.
Inside rooms was actually very well done. Comfortable bed. And the price was fantastic. This was good value for money.

Für den, der es mag. Ich hatte das Zimmer im ersten Stock und musste erst einmal mühselig meinen Koffer 15 Stufen hochtragen. OK. Unten gibt es zwar Kaffee und Tee kostenlos, aber leider keine einzige Sitzgelegenheit. Toilette erst am Ende des flures, und Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss kann man mal sehen wie ich das überstehe. Dafür aber ein fantastischer Blick aus dem Fenster auf die Bucht. Und die tschechische mitarbeiterin, die mich freundlicher von der bushaltestelle an der Tankstelle abgeholt hat, verbringt ihr ihren ersten und definitiv letzten Sommer. Und ich voraussichtlich meinen ersten und letzten Aufenthalt.

Pokoje czyste, jedzenie bardzo dobre. Miejsce prowadzone przez sympatyczną Panią z Polski i Islandczyka który posiada bardzo dużą wiedzę o Islandii i zakątkach wartych zobaczenia, bardzo chętnie się tym dzieli. Polecam 100%

Had a great sleep at this guest house. The lady is very friendly, the breakfast buffet rich. The guesthouse is cozy.

This was my first experience staying in a guesthouse, and it was excellent. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. The room and bathrooms were very clean. The location is super central in Blönduós, and there’s a beach right behind the house. At this spot, I was able to see the best auroras I've ever seen.

First of all this is a very good value for money hotel.
Said that you can't expect everything to be perfect but price considered was much more than I expected.
The location is perfect as it's just close to the main island ring. You won't add time to your trip just to reach the hotel
Check in is easy and instructions are very clear.
The current new host is very helpful and friendly.
The location is also beautiful like any spot in Iceland
There are very nice common areas which you can use to eat your own food.
You can't use the kitchen to cook so use only to eat ready meals
Tea coffee and cookies are free
You rooms are warm but do have an old smell
The main down side for me was not to be able to use the kitchen to cook but understandable due to the hotel affordability.
Overall very nice experience and got more than I was expecting. Would give it 4.5 but as not possible closer than 5 than 4 for me.

Owners of this place were really friendly. Its located pretty much in Blondous centre. We were able to find free parking spots right infront of the guest house.

I feel the whole place needs a renovation. Beds were not that comfortable. We had a room at the ground floor, where the kitchen was close by. When we checked in , our room had the smell from kitchen. The heater in room was not working and the staff arranged another portable heater for us , which we had to manage in the already cramped room. Room has wardrobe, which cannot be fully opened due to lack of space. Bathrooms also could be better.

Also please note that the Kitchen is not usable for guests for cooking. All you can use is the tea/coffee, toaster, microwave, fridge, and kettle. Guests are allowed to sit in the restaurant to have food.
