I’ve been on a lot of northern lights tours and this has been my favorite one! Jon was our guide and he was fantastic. He’s born and raised in this area so he told us a lot about northern Iceland and his process for finding the northern lights. We were lucky and saw the lights immediately but it was cloudy so we had to move around to a few places. I brought my own mirrorless camera and he helped me with the settings to get amazing pictures and he helped the other tourists in the group get great iPhone pictures as well. We stayed out for hours until the lights faded. I booked this tour from a different company so I didn’t get to see the other tours they offered but I wish I knew about them! Highly recommend this company!

We had a great time on the Lake and waterfall tour thanks to our guide Daniel. He was absolutely awesome. Showed us the great sites and kept us entertained without being boring. Ask for Daniel the guide.

We did the Lake Myvatn with Dettifoss tour with Imagine Iceland, departing from Akureyri. We were picked up on time by our friendly tour guide, Jón, who was referred to as “Icelandic John” during the tour. Our jeep was super comfortable with plenty of leg room and space to safely stash our bags. Jón was very knowledgeable and made the trip to this part of north Iceland a memorable one. We’d gladly go on another tour with Imagine Iceland next time we visit Akureyri!

Booked for two tours, for Lake Myvatn and diamond circle and also for Northern lights ... Great company, great people, outstanding tours and, especially for the northern lights? Couldn't recommend them highly enough - unerringly took us to a spot where, if anything was visible, we would see it! And we did!

An incredibly diverse day with waterfalls, vocanic lakes, lava formation, mud pools and nature baths. Gunner was a great guide and driver. He made it personal as he lived and worked in the valleys we traversed. It was half the price of what the cruise charged with more experiences.

I had an absolutely fantastic tour of the Diamond Circle. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable, and had so many interesting stories about different sites/buildings/farms on our drive around northern Iceland. They were the best tour I’ve taken in Iceland so far and I would 100% book with them again.

AWESOME TOUR! Van was comfortable and not a huge bus, so group was small and guide was personable. Guide was knowledgeable, informative, and helpful! We had a fantastic day!
