You might almost dismiss this place, like we did at first, because it is just a tiny cart in a parking lot. That would be a huge mistake! This was no doubt the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Hot, fresh, seasoned perfectly and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Not to mention the fries which were awesome too. I like my fries crispy and a little salty, and these were perfect. With a little hint of lime as well, no need for ketchup or any other dipping sauce. You can sit on the picnic benches and enjoy the view of the water and the tiny orange lighthouse on the hill behind. Highly, highly recommend!

Visiting a few harbours we stopped off for a quick lunch. Fish was fresh, and well seasoned, and a decent sized portion for lunch. A couple of benches infront of the food truck to sit and eat. Not sure what the cost was. Would be a great lunch during the summer, eating out in the sun!

Pretty good fish and chips! They seemed to use cod, and it tastes pretty nice and juicy. The breading was also pretty crispy, as we're the fries. I think the remoulade sauce they used was one of the better ones I've had, though. I also really liked the chili mayo they have (I think that's what they gave). If you're in the area, definitely a good choice, even though it's in a weird location (near the docks).

Definitely can recommend the place! THE best fish & chips I have ever had. Definitely a place not to miss! A bit pricy (as everything in Iceland), but if you are not super hungry, you can take one fish & chips for two to share

Awesome fish and chips for almost 1/2 the price at any of the local restaurants! V hearty portions, well fried, delicious lime salt on it all + free sauces (also large portions! We loved the chilli mayo and remoulade aka garlic mayo). If it was warmer weather we would have stayed to eat by the cart, but while waiting we were treated to seeing the sunset over the harbor 🙂 Favorite meal in Iceland thus far!

So good! And very reasonably priced at 2000 kr and no charge for sauce. What?! Fish is fresh and delicious, fries are seasoned with some awesome salty goodness, and the chili mayo is the bomb. Worth the trip here just to have this. This is a food cart, so you’re sitting outside right by the harbor. Love it!

We ordered and watched them batter the fish and throw them in the fryer. Super fresh and there's some tables outside to sit on. Also good sauce, not sure what it was but we liked the two kinds they gave us.

Fresh, fast, decently priced and most importantly.. tasty! 2500 ISK for fish and chips, 300 ISK for a drink and if your other half is a pesky vegetarian like mine is... then 700 ISK for a big box of chips
