We had such a magical stay here - when we arrived, Knútur ran out to meet us and tell us that the Northern Lights were on display over us (we hadn't yet looked up lol)!

He and Leana are much more than owners of a beautiful guesthouse - they are true hosts who want to help you get the most of your stay in the area. They are available in the morning to chat through the sights, and what you have time to do during your trip. We enjoyed their tailored recos, and also their conversation with us at breakfast (which was incredible, btw). Such great, interesting people and we can only hope to meet again. ◡̈ The guesthouse itself is beautiful, well equipped and thoughtful to guests' needs.

Dramatic and amazing hotel in a mesmerizing setting. Incredible construction incorporating a former farmhouse and outbuildings, and reimagined into its new purpose as a guest facility. Gracious hosts who take the time to explain much about sights to see, and Iceland's history, geology and mythology. Breakfast offerings including homemade jams and sweetbreads. One of the most impressive stays I have had anywhere, and a highlight of our Iceland visit!

Definitely the nicest accommodations we had over a ten day trip of West Iceland! Our room had beautiful furnishings and a decently sized bathroom. The common spaces are gorgeous even before you gaze out the ample windows to the sea. It's fun to explore the property and see the local birds and flowers. And the couple that own the guesthouse are so welcoming and gave us tons of tips for exploring the peninsula. We would absolutely come back!

Beautiful location, great story, insane views, very comfortable and even better hosts! Last stop on our 10 day Iceland adventure and surely the stand-out of all our accommodations! The property was so peaceful, calm and serene. If you’re looking for a place far from crowds this is it.

Ein so wunderschönes, stylisches, mit Liebe zum Detail und herzlich geführtes Guesthouse. Hier stimmte wirklich alles. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt und hätten uns noch stundenlang mit den sehr freundlichen Gastgebern unterhalten können. Besonders genossen haben wir auch die Ruhe, den Ausblick und das leckere Frühstück. Herzensempfehlung!

Unsere absolute Empfehlung für einen Island-Urlaub!

Unser erster Eindruck? WOW, was für eine wunderschöne, weitläufige und ruhige Umgebung!

Das gesamte Anliegen war umwerfend. Es war sehr modern gestaltet, zugleich wurden alte Elemente des früheren Hofes beibehalten, was das Anliegen so einzigartig macht. Hier findet man definitiv die "Liebe zu Detail".

Unser Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen, ebenso die Küche und das Wohnzimmer sowie das Frühstück im anderen Gebäude. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet und durch die großen Fenster konnten wir während des Frühstücks die wunderbare Natur genießen.

Leana hat uns sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen. Sie hat uns von der Entstehung und der Idee des Guesthouse, von dem Leben auf Island, den dort lebenden Tieren und weiteren interessanten Dingen erzählt. Auch haben Leana und ihr Mann uns immer wieder tolle Tipps für die Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben.

Alles in allem: Ein Traum! Wir haben uns willkommen und rundum wohl gefühlt

architektonisch sehr schön umgebaute Kuhfarm, in einer traumhaften, ruhigen Umgebung, abseits von der Ringstraße, mit direktem Blick auf den Fjord!
Alles sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Kleines, aber sehr feines Frühstück, mit fast nur einheimischen und teilweise selbstgemachten Produkten!

Wunderschön gelegene, familiär geführte Unterkunft.
Die beeindruckend und mit viel Liebe zum Detail umgebaute Viehscheune versprüht besonderen Charme.
Der Eigentümer ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend.
