BAKAÐ - Keflavík

BAKAÐ er en et interessant sted på Keflavík International Airport, der man kan nyte en kaffe og et sukkert tilbud før man enters duty-free zona. Fra tidligere var det et sted hvor Joe og Juice stod, og før dette var Kaffitar.

Bransjen har en fin service, rensk og rengjort lokalitet, men prisen er høg.

Tak med at notere at det er mulig å bruke selvbetjeningen ved side av barbet for kaffe og smoothie eller andre drikkevarer, hvis man ikke spiser noget i denne lokaliteten.

Abbiamo preso un tè caldo, un filtered coffee e un pain au chocolat, buonissimo e sfornato da loro! Il servizio è stato veloce e cortese. Se non si mangia nulla e c’è coda si ha la possibilità di utilizzare il self service a fianco del bar sia per il caffè che per smoothie già pronti o altre bevande.

An interesting place at Keflavik International Airport, where you can enjoy a coffee and a sweet treat before entering the duty-free zone. Previously, the Joe and the Juice spot was located here, and even before that, Kaffitar.
Nice service, clean and tidy place, but prices high.

A welcome place for coffee and sweet carbs after a brutal overnight flight in tiny airplane seats. Fresh and fast. Busy with the weary travelers. Sugar to pep the next leg. Not the worst place to sit and wait for the rental car shuttle.

Personal muy amable, un puntazo es que tienen leche de avena y por tanto he podido tomar café. Una cosa que me llama mucho la atención respecto a España es que si pagas un café filtrado (no de maquina) puedes rellenarlo todas las veces que quieras, así que aquí estamos a tope de cafeína pasando las 24h de espera que tenemos en el aeropuerto. El café está muy bueno, el chocolate caliente más aún, y las napolitanas (o pan con chocolate que lo llaman aquí) mejores aún. Eso sí, precio de aeropuerto...

Service was warm and friendly and coffee was good but cinnamon bun and croissant both tasted old and over baked airport location so don’t know if that effected quality

Ordered a hot chocolate and got two Swiss mochas. Complained. She remade the most sub standard “hot chocolates” basically warm milk and in smaller cups. She gave me attitude too. Avoid at all costs. Go to the other cafe in the food court and get better food and drinks and a warmer attitude.

The seating area is spacious compared to others. The latte is small with lots of foam floating above. The taste is ok ish. Never buy it again. 699 ISK

Visited today. Was not allowed to order since this location only serves departing passengers. As we were arriving to Iceland on a red eye, hungry, in need of coffee. We spotted this cool looking spot but we were not allowed to order. Dont be fooled like we were. Odd policy.
