Wir haben hier eine Nacht geschlafen und waren sehr zufrieden. Ruhige Lage in einem Wohngebiet auf einen Hügel mit sehr schönem Weitblick. Die Zimmer sind hell und modern eingerichtet, bequeme Betten und alles in einem sauberen einwandfreien Zustand. Das Bad im ersten Stock ist sehr groß mit mit einer schönen Dusche, alles sehr gepflegt und modern. Wir haben die Küche im Tiefgeschoss nicht benutzt, aber die Sitzecke mit Couch, Esstisch und TV. Das Haus verfügt sich über einen kleinen Aufzug, praktisch bei schwerem Gepäck und Koffern. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten!

Fine for a 1 night stay but pretty "average". The kitchen could have been better provisioned & it lacked the warmth of other guesthouses we experienced whilst driving the Ring Rd. The bathroom was large & clean, rooms smallish. Handy for the Botanical Gardens which were very nice.||Probably wouldn't stay again.

Mooi privé huis erg schoon.|Álles is aanwezig in dit huis zelfs kruiden om te koken.|We hebben genoten van dit ruime huis in IJsland. |Het huis ligt vlakbij het vliegveld en je kunt vanuit deze plaats mooie tochten maken.|Zoals de Golden Cirkel ook verhuur bedrijven van auto's zijn op korte afstand aanwezig op een paar minuten rijden diverse supermarkten. |We hebben genoten van een korte vakantie.

Place is very nice and location is great but the Host or Owner of the place completely ruined the experience for us.

He is super controlling, and will scold you for the slightest things. He threatened to kick us out on the street, with no remorse. While we did come to an agreement, the rest of the trip was a constant state of stress, not knowing what wrong move might make him kick us out.

Stay here at your own risk. I would recommend staying here for not more than one night.

Our weird check in experience soured our stay at Amma. When you arrive there are signs directing you to call a number to check in, shortly we were met by a staff member and taken downstairs. He powered up his laptop and searched for our booking, we were informed the room we booked and paid for wasn’t available. We were then offered a different room, I explained we paid for the more expensive room so we would need the difference refunded if it wasn’t available, it took ages but finally we had a room. The staff member didn’t know the difference in price exactly but said it was around 2000 ISK and gave me a cash refund. I checked the price difference when I got to my room, it was 3500 ISK, which annoyed me, but it was such an odd check in I didn’t want to chase the money. Room was comfy and clean as was bathroom, try to get an upstairs room, the shared bathroom is much larger and nicer upstairs. Shared kitchen is older but clean and has everything you need to cook. Laundry is available to use, a big bonus in Iceland! Could have been a good place to stay if check in hadn’t gone so poorly.

Plus jamais ici. Surtout au niveau de la douche et des wc. Il y a une seule douche et wc même pas séparés pour un grand nombre de chambres. Si quelqu'un se douche pas moyen de faire ses besoins, je vous dis pas si on a une urgence, de plus nous n'avons pas osé nous doucher car c'était sale et en mauvais état. Nous avions demandé sur booking des lits jumeaux, mais nous avons eu des lits séparés. Les chambres sont très petites, juste la place pour se bouger dedans et l'accueil pas au top. J'ai eu bien mieux en islande pour moins cher

Me and my brother planned a stay at Amma Guesthouse with a short notice. The third person decided to join a few days later. The hosts service was exelent int trying to help us find solutions to fit the 3rd person but the guesthouse was fully booked. Greate problemsolve skills! The rooms were clean and comfy. Really good value for price.

Più che una guesthouse è un ostello, poiché molto grande. Stanze abbastanza spaziose ma fredde nell'arredamento, bagno pulito ma uno per corridoio è troppo poco. Cucina pulita e fornita di tutto, a disposizione anche una macchina del caffè per caffè, the, cioccolata, espresso, quindi anche se la colazione non era inclusa era come se lo fosse per le bibite. Il proprietario un po' strano e inquietante.
