First timers to Iceland in September and we were completely blown away by the country's beauty! At the end of our stay we did a private drysuit snorkeling tour at Silfra with Hugo from Adventure Vikings and that was the most fantastic, enjoyable and amazing experience.
To swim in the crystal clear water between the tectonic plates was nothing but amazing!
Hugo was so professional, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and funny and made the snorkeling a great memory for us. Thank you Hugo, the photos are great! 💗
We felt completely safe and comfortable with Hugo's guidance and enjoyed the tour very much. We didn't get cold at all with the exception of a couple of fingers and after the tour Hugo served us hot chocolate to help us get warm.
We can warmly recommend doing this snorkeling tour with Adventure Vikings, you will not regret it!
Fligth tickets for a new trip to Iceland during 2025 are already booked and we will probably do this snorkeling tour again next year and of course we'll do it with Adventure Vikings!

Had a great experience with Wilmar!!

Pick was smooth and quick. Wilmar explained Silfra to us and helped us all get suited up being super entertaining as he did so! 😆

Swim itself was just a lazy float with the soft current - very easy, especially with dry suits.

Wilmar gave us hot chocolate after to help warm us back up

This was such a unique experience swimming between two continents!! Our instructor Dory was so thorough and made sure the dry suits were water tight and fitted perfectly, I didn’t get wet at all so was not that cold! The dive itself isn’t very long but you wouldn’t want to be in the water for ages. The views though were incredible and well worth the stinging hands and face. Dory took loads of pictures so we have plenty of memories to look back on. Would definitely recommend this experience to the adventurers out there.

Big shout out to our guide Luiz (or Luis, not sure how he spells it!), but he was a fantastic guide to have and I'd recommend you try to get a snorkeling tour with him if you go!

The water was so clear and it really did feel special to be looking down at the fissure below.

Bring thermals for underneath the dry suit and you'll be fine. The onesie they give you to put over your thermals is great and will keep you warm throughout. Only your hands and face will be a little cold.

Bring a waterproof camera or get a waterproof case for your phone! You'll want some memories.

Husband & I went on snorkeling/caving adventure while in Iceland for our Honeymoon. Absolutely worth every penny, snorkeling was jaw dropping gorgeous & honestly I booked originally cause husband wanted to. The water is crystal clear and it's very light physical activity. Absolutely adored it, colors blew our minds and we agreed, was highlight of time in Reykjavik!!!

What an unforgettable experience this was. I read the reviews before booking this and it was even better in person. Our scuba guide was Anil, who was great fun and put us all at ease. The views that we saw underwater were absolutely breath-taking. It was so surreal to be seeing these plates and we said we love to come back, to do it all over again and take it all in. Thanks guys for helping us create such brilliant memories!

Fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Ines, was very caring and ensures that we were safe and were having fun. We chose the dry suit option and did not feel the 4 degree Celsius water. With exception of small sections of the face which was forgotten soon after. It was a great experience and I would not mind doing it again with this company. The water very clear ❤️ thank you for making our experience great!

We did the dry suit snorkel trip. It was such an amazing experience and highly recommend to anyone who is considering it. Dory was our guide for the day and she was the absolute best. She made sure everyone had everything they needed and took the best photos.

This was an impressive experience. Clear water and beautiful views. The warm suits work great. Alex was attentive to details and knowledgeable about the are and the activity. This is a must do activity in Iceland.

Experience was great! Alex was very nice with us :). The experience is breathtaking, the dry suit was good, you don't feel cold at all, even my friend taking the wetsuit didn't felt cold, we were just enjoying this amazing and unique place.
