We stayed here one night while traveling the ring road. It is just outside the main city center of Akureyri. We were met by the owner who showed us the property and how to use anything we had questions about. It is an absolutely beautiful place with amazing attention to detail. The pictures online do not convey just how big it is and how nicely everything is laid out. We were a family of four, two small children. It could easily accommodate a larger group. Everything is spotless and well taken care of. The house has everything you could possibly need from a very large kitchen to little things like small games for kids. We took advantage of the washing machine and hot tub as well. We could have easily stayed two nights or more but our itinerary didn't allow for it, I can easily recommend this for families on your ring road trip!

We stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. This house is beautiful, every detail of it. It has everything you need and more. Would really like to stay there again for more than just one night. The host, a lovely young woman, met with us when we arrived and showed us how everything works. Thank you so much for your hospitality❤ Your place gets 10☆ from me.

We stayed over a weekend. The Old farm house was very welcoming and clean. The beds were comfortable, clean, and cozy. We baked, made some chocolate before Christmas. Enjoyed the hot tub in the snow and we took a short walk to the Christmas house, 5 mínutes. The host was super friendly and easy to contact if needed. We all loved our stay and we will definitely come back soon.

The Old Farm was simply wonderful! The location couldn't be better and the Cabin has an incredible peace and delightful view of the Icelandic landscape.

The villa is very big, super comfy and the design is beautiful and very cozy. The bedrooms and common spaces have a perfect, comfortable and super spacious structure. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom impeccable and functional!

The best part was the amazing view of the landscape also the warm reception from the family that owns the place. We were very lucky and we could see the northern lights just outside the cabin, was magical!

We loved! Highly recommended, truly an amazing experience!

The house is fantastic. Every small detail makes it beautiful. Very clean and welcoming. We stayed over a weekend. Baked some macarons, made chocolate, and nice dinner. Took a walk to the Christmas house, 5 minutes away. Enjoyed the hot tub in the cold but beautiful weather. The host was super friendly. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms cozy. We will definitely come back soon.

Kitchen equipped with everything you could need. |Amazing!!|We spent only one night but I would have stayed an entire week.|Definitely the best accomodation I stayed at during my week in Iceland

We stayed the night when driving the Ring Road. Just about 10 minutes south of town & in a residential neighborhood. The place is immaculate with wonderful touches throughout. It was nice having an outside hot tub after a long day. Beautiful place. A small thing, the washer/dryer was nice to have but very confusing to figure out. Highly, highly recommend!!

La casa es preciosa con muchísimos detalles, decoración preciosa, genial equipamiento. Los detalles llegaban a dejarnos cápsulas de café, te, chocolatinas. Todas las habitaciones son preciosas, tiene hasta una antigua cocina en la que guardan juegos de mesa y mantas para el sofá. Tiene jacuzzi exterior, barbacoa y hasta para secar los zapatos. Es como para quedarse a vivir! Genial!|
