Les chambres sont très petites (oubliez d’ouvrir une ou 2 grosses valises) et peu modernes.Le lit est un lit double 120cm, compliqué pour dormir à deux. Vous entendrez votre voisin comme si vous étiez dans sa chambre… Les douches sont des douches de piscines et le bâtiment est assez vieux.
Point positif, vous êtes au milieu d’un champs, entouré de chevaux et de moutons. L’endroit y est très beau et l’emplacement parfait.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cette auberge de jeunesse, dans une chambre pour deux, assez petite. Les portes sont peu épaisses et grincent, on entend très vite les voisins entrant ou sortant de leur chambre. Un groupe de 8 personnes était présent de plus, cela n'a pas contribué au calme. Point positif quand même, une cuisine spacieuse, propre et bien équipée.

Don’t stay in the hostel (I can’t speak for the hotel). The hostel building is very old and the doors are extremely loud, you will hear every time someone opens and closes a door. The walls are thin and conversation carries. There’s only two toilets for about 10 rooms….the showers are very terrible - you cannot adjust the temperature at all and you have to continually press a button for water to come out. I assume this function is to save water, but really I ended up wasting a bunch waiting for the water to finally turn off after I finished the shower. Not sure who thought that feature was a good idea. Light in the top bunk of my room didn’t work which is funny because I was reading reviews and someone who stayed in that room a year ago had the same problem…seems like they don’t fix anything around there. What can I say that’s positive? It is self check in which is nice, so you don’t have to worry about arriving at a specific time. The floor is relatively clean because you must take your shoes off at the entrance. It’s a convenient location between Vík and Höfn but honestly you might be better just finishing the drive to either of those places for a higher quality stay. INot worth the price in my opinion, and I got the cheapest room possible.

Foi a pior estada e a pior relação custo-benefício das 10 hospedagens tidas na Islândia. Se o preço fosse a metade, ainda seria a pior.

Quartos apertados em beliches velhas, pouco cômodo.

Sem funcionários.

Má comunicação do anfitrião, que não faz o mínimo para apresentar uma boa hospedagem pelo preço cobrado.

Quartos no segundo andar com chuveiro no primeiro, com um péssimo banho.

A cozinha é cômoda, embora a falta de gerência.

Grande dificuldade em conseguir hospedagem entre nessa região. E o dono se faz...

The place is very near to route 1. It has 2 floors.both floors have a single WC but the showers are only present in ground floor. The almirah inside the room looked worn out and old and not suitable for keeping the belongings. Kitchen size is good with 1 stove. The rooms are not sound proof and also the staircase is very narrow. If you are planning on bringing large or heavy luggage then it will be difficult to carry those to the rooms

Consiglio di dormire nelle casette piuttosto che nello stabile principale che funge da b&b - ostello.
Da qui comunque albe / tramonti pazzeschi e zero inquinamento luminoso per vedere l’aurora.
Consiglio tantissimo come punto di riferimento per andare a visitare il kenyon e il ghiaccio

Un service inexistant, aucun accueil à part une pancarte dans l'entrée qui dis qu'on a reçu un mail pour avoir le code de la keybox et le numéro de chambre. Si vous appelez le numéro de téléphone, vous tombez sur une dame très peu aimable et qui n'a visiblement aucune envie de vous aider. Il a fallu négocier pour obtenir les informations.

Une fois dans la chambre réservée pour 2 personnes vous vous retrouvez avec un lit 120cm de large (1 place et demi).

I stayed in the little cabin. Initially, I loved it! But the heat worked very poorly! I slept in layers! It felt the same as outdoors. They provided only a very thin blanket. It was a very cold experience!

The curtains also are light and don’t get it dark.

I paid extra for the private cottage but the showers were in hostel and shared. There was no room to put stuff to change privately. There was a curtain that didn’t fully cover the entrance to the shower area keeping everyone from seeing you naked.

The listing I got said linens and towels included. Towels were not included.
The property is beautiful. I loved the cute cottage. But this is one I can’t recommend. It was extremely cold!
