Ormurinn Cottages es un alojamiento muy cómodo y bonito, rodeado de un entorno natural que invita al descanso. Las instalaciones están bien equipadas, haciendo que la estancia sea realmente agradable. Sin embargo, un detalle a considerar es que el agua tenía un olor peculiar debido a los sulfatos, lo que puede ser un aspecto típico de esta región geotérmica. A pesar de ello, la experiencia en general fue positiva, especialmente por la belleza del lugar y la tranquilidad que ofrece.

l'emplacement sur le lac et la vue. la tranquillité du lieu. tout est petit mais c est fonctionnel. petit frigo, plaque électrique, il y a de quoi cuisiner qq chose de simple. emplacement pour se garer. l originalité des maisonnettes. pour 4 personnes, c est vraiment petit. les ado ont dormi dans le canapé lit. la douche ne conviendra pas à qq de corpulent. vu la forme des maisonnettes je pensais qu il y aurait une mezzanine mais ce n est pas le cas.

So charming. One of our favorite places for a lot of reasons. Location and that view! So good. All the conveniences to make a little meal and breakfast, which was a fun change of pace. Super comfy beds and incredibly clean.

we stayed here in mid-september and what a lovely stay it was! it was a shame we arrived a little late and left early so we couldn’t enjoy the place more. driving into the area during sunset we were so charmed by how beautiful the location was; i was surprised that this place wasn’t sold out already at our time of booking it (3 months earlier). we arrived near sunset and the colours were STUNNING. the cottage itself is cosy and modern. not too spacious but big enough to fit at least 3 large suitcases. it is a wonderful location to see the northern lights as well (it was sufficiently dark enough). there is a supermarket on the other side of the lake.

also if you’re driving here from the south i highly recommend taking route 95 for beautiful valley views.

my only two complaints are the sound of the water pipes below; it was a little too noisy. also, the emergency exit sign was out in the living room where the sofa bed was and it was BRIGHT. i had a little trouble sleeping because of that. but if you bring a sleeping mask it shouldn’t be a problem. i think something could be done about those things!

Beautiful location. Room was a little small for 4 people but it is very well stocked and has everything you need. Fast wifi, toaster, etc.. Little lambs nearby and lots of birds to see on the water.

un des plus beaux logements que nous ayons eu! seuls au monde dans des petits chalets avec vu sur le lac!|cuisine bien équipée , grille pain, plaques électriques, cafetière à piston avec café à disposition |canapé convertible, tv, et une chambre séparée|Bref tout était parfait

Best location to stay in this town. The cabin is well designed, looks nice and offers great function, good use of space with a kitchen, bathroom, small living space and a bedroom all in one hut.

Very nice view of the lake. Close by to the town.
