Stayed here when my first accommodations cancelled my reservation 5 minutes before my checkin after they discovered they over booked. Got a great deal on the room and was desperate after traveling for 24 hours with no sleep. They let me check in an hour early!! God bless! They were extremely courteous at the front desk. The room was clean, the bathroom ,although small, was new and updated and fully functional. There is 24 hour free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the common area for guests. There is even an elevator to the second floor for convenience. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. There is a small patio on the side of the building to enjoy overlooking the mountains. Plenty of free parking. Within walking distances to small kiosk, geothermal spa Laugarvatn Fontana and restaurants as well as having a restaurant on site. They offer breakfast on site as well for a small fee. At night it is totally silent!! Such bliss! I highly recommend this place.

I got a last minute room for two nights. The room itself was good, new and clean. But in a kind of basement with a parking lot right before the big window so I had I close the curtains all the time. But as I said - last minute, last room.
And - this goes to other tourists - please don’t be awful loud at night. And don’t let your kids run through the corridors, knocking at strangers doors and trying out door codes at random doors.

Besides this everything was really good. The service is exceptional! What a wonderful team! Good food and free coffee for guests.
There’s a gas station with a small supermarket one minute away and it’s a 15 min drive to the Geysir. Would definitely stay again

Our family of four stayed here for our last night in Iceland. Room was comfortable and had enough room for all of us and our bags. Very convenient to get to the Fontana spa, which we enjoyed.it was in a perfect location for us as we did a portion of the Golden Circle the first day then finished the next before our return flight home.

Well located hotel for visiting Þingvellir and Geysir with helpful staff. The room was on the smaller side so it was a bit snug with our two suitcases in there. The bathroom was similarly small but perfectly functional, however it could have done with some towel hooks. It worked well as an overnight stop along the way and I would happily stay for a night again but I don’t think I would stay multiple nights or a longer stay.

Our room was clean and spacious enough. Dinner didn’t open til 1800 so I walked down the drive to a quaint pizza etc place where I had a delicious lamb pizza. I had the buffet breakfast self serve cold items only. Quite expensive for what you get (but everything is expensive in Iceland) While this is a good location for the GC there is not much else around. There is a mini market/gas within walking distance

Nous avons séjournés dans cet hôtel une nuit, nous étions au "sous sol", chambre 107. Chambre extrêmement petite, sale (poussière et mouches/moustiques morts sur le rebord intérieur de la fenêtre, poussière sur la table de chevet côté fenêtre), SDB vraiment vieillotte, très loin des photos mises sur internet. |Les tables dans la salle de repas sale (tache de café séché), repas et petit déjeuné moyen, très cher niveau rapport qualité/prix.
